Meet Gizmo The Shihpoo

My dog is becoming quite the star on my YouTube channel so I thought I'd properly introduce him. His name is Gizmo and he's a shih-poo (half Shih Tzu/half Poodle). 

I’ve grown up with dogs for a lot of my life and apparently if you're not around them for a few years it’s possible to develop an allergy, which is what happened to me! Not long after getting Gizmo I was congested all the time and just felt awful. Thinking I was just having trouble kicking a cold I went to the doctor and they suggested an allergy test. The results came back showing I was allergic to dogs and a few other things. The Doctor’s recommendation was to “get rid of the allergy causing agent”and I literally exploded into tears in his office. The nurses felt so bad for me they gave me hugs and started telling me all the ways I could make it work. Years later we figured it out and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Anyone who knows me knows how crazy I am about him. Believe it or not, I got Gizmo from a Craigslist add. You never know what you're going to get from Craigslist so I'm still relieved that Gizmo is so well behaved and quite frankly, cute. Even people who don't like dogs fall in love with Gizmo. He's irrisistable.

He hardly barks and loves to play fetch but only in the house🤷🏽‍♀️. He loves snacks and belly rubs too. I can't believe how much he's grown since I first got him.
